The TRIO extracurricular program is integrated with academics and includes Theatre & Play, a Multicultural Student Community, a Comprehensive Sports Curriculum with competitions, and STEM & Robotics. Theatre & Play develops confidence, communication, imagination, and emotional growth. The Multicultural Student Community brings together students from 18 nationalities and fosters collaboration, respect, and global perspectives. TRIO offers four languages from age 5–6: French, Hindi, Kannada, and Spanish. Language instruction progresses from audio-visual and oral learning in Early Years to concept-based learning in the Primary Years Programme, with Middle School following a Modern Foreign Language curriculum and High School assessments that are skill-, concept-, and content-based. Group 1 languages in the Cambridge IGCSE can lead to ICE certification, and Group 2 languages (French, Hindi, Spanish) are offered at the IB Diploma Programme level as Language B. DELF coaching, Language Week, and Francophonie Day celebrate language and culture, with field trips to France and Francophone regions and partnerships with Alliance Française de Bangalore.
TRIO offers drama/theatre, choir, GK Club, Young Writers Club, and storytelling as after-school activities. Theatre activities involve role-playing, script writing, creating stories, and performing to express oneself. Singing in the choir provides a collective musical experience and channels of expression. GK Club covers current affairs, family, health, arts and science.
Community service programmes teach students to think beyond their own lives and develop civic responsibility. The Trio Student Council is the representative body of students and promotes leadership and active participation. Roles include School Captains, House Captains, Cultural Captain, Sports Captain, Academic Captain, and a PYP Student Council. Career Readiness & University Placements provide pathways for future studies and careers, with dedicated guidance to navigate higher education opportunities.
Physical Education & Sports emphasize vitality, teamwork, discipline, and resilience, with activities designed to keep students mentally fresh and physically fit. Facilities include outdoor sports (basketball, football, swimming, skating, cricket, athletics) and indoor sports (table tennis, chess, taekwondo). The self-defence program teaches safety, awareness, and quick decision-making. Yoga supports mindfulness, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.
TRIO World Academy in Bengaluru is an authorised IB World School offering a pathway from early years to pre-university.
