The ESL program is global in content and technology-driven. iPads and technology aid language learning and make content accessible. The programme is supportive and inclusive, with small class sizes enabling the ESL team to focus on essential language skills. In Primary (PYP), ESL supports students not yet prepared for mainstream language-intensive courses with a comfortable yet challenging environment. In Middle School (Grades 6-8), six 40-minute periods per week focus on reading, writing, listening, speaking, role plays, and discussions to build proficiency. An IGCSE English as a Second Language course (0511) is offered, with pathway options into IB English B or IB English A and into the IB Diploma Programme.
