Food Options

The school has a cafeteria with six kiosks and one drink counter that can cater to more than 500 students.

House System

The school has four houses – KHD, Kartini, Oldham and Thoburn. The aim of the House system is to promote and develop clean and keen competition in sports and other areas, both individually and amongst the Houses. Ki Hajar Dewantara (KHD) is named after Ki Hajar Dewantara, a pioneer of Indonesian education; Kartini is named after Raden Ajeng Kartini, a national heroine who fought for women's rights; Oldham is named after Bishop William F Oldham, founder of ACS in 1886; Thoburn is named after Bishop James Thoburn, a pioneer of the ACS mission.

Governance and Ownership

ACS Jakarta is part of the Anglo-Chinese School family of schools and was the first overseas ACS campus. In 2006 it moved to a purpose-built campus in Cilangkap. ACS is an International Baccalaureate World School and Cambridge Centre; ACS is a network of Methodist institutions, and all ACS schools are Methodist.

ACS Jakarta is a K‑12 international school in Cilangkap and an IB World School with Cambridge Centre status. The curriculum includes Cambridge Primary, Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. A three‑year Pre‑IB pathway for Grade 10 leads into the IBDP, while the IGCSE pathway feeds DP. The IBDP comprises six subject groups plus DP Core (TOK, EE, CAS). In the DP, Group 1 offers English A, Indonesian A and Korean A; Group 2 includes Language B and Ab Initio; Groups 3–6 cover Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics and Arts. DP grade runs 1–7. On an eight‑hectare campus, ACS Jakarta provides wifi classrooms and spaces for art, science, music, language and sport, plus a library. Facilities include a Performing Arts Theater and Tan Siong Kie Hall, two dance rooms and six music rooms, a clinic, cafeteria and green spaces. The school emphasizes holistic development and service to others through co‑curricular activities plus university preparation.
