Bali Island School campus is in Sanur with an authentic Balinese ambiance. Bali Island School has two large sports fields (60m x 40m) and one small field (30m x 20m). A covered area houses two tennis courts, two basketball courts, or two volleyball courts. There is a junior outdoor court and a large junior playground area. The school's swimming pool measures 25m x 14m with a depth of 1.2m to 1.8m, a Hayward filtration system, chlorine, six competition-grade stainless-steel start blocks, and anti-wake lane ropes. These facilities support a range of on-site athletic activities.
Classrooms are designed to support the learning process. Primary Years classrooms are organized in stations and equipped with age-appropriate technology. Secondary classrooms are arranged to support group work or individual learning depending on the subject and teacher. The library offers about 40,000 titles and is open at lunchtime and breaks for research and study, with resources aligned to the curriculum and mother tongue books for language support. Students access the library through an online catalog that can be used from school or home.
Bali Island School offers over 60 co-curricular activities across arts, sports, hobbies, leadership, and academics. Co-Curricular Activities run Monday to Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, providing opportunities to explore interests beyond the classroom. Bali Island School is an IB Continuum school in Sanur, offering the Primary Years Programme (Preschool–Grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (Grade 6–10) and the Diploma Programme (Grade 11–12). English is the language of instruction, with a WIDA-based EAL program to support non-native speakers. In the MYP, Language & Literature is taught in English, while Language Acquisition can be Bahasa Indonesia or French; in the DP, Language A includes English and Indonesian, Language B includes Indonesian and French, and Ab Initio includes Spanish, ensuring robust language development across the curriculum.
