From Early Years to Grade 10, there is a structured academic pathway with clearly defined learning standards. In Grades 11–12, students choose between Cambridge A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP); BINUS SCHOOL Serpong is a Candidate School for the DP and is pursuing authorization.

The school integrates the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) principle in daily practice. SEL fosters mindful individuals who are sensitive to their own needs and the needs of others. The approach supports character development and the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. The Affective Education Week for Early Years and Primary develops social, emotional, and physical growth through workshops, arts and crafts, and sports. Secondary students participate in After Exam Activities after assessments to unwind and rebuild well-being with sports, talent showcases, and workshops.
The school is inclusive, and every student receives the support they need when they need it. Interventions are data-informed, guided by needs assessments, observations, and progress tracking. The school operates a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to provide targeted academic and social-emotional assistance. English is reinforced as the language of instruction and communication across the School. Mandarin is practiced, and students' first languages are respected. The ECY curriculum reinforces English language use throughout the School to support language development. The school environment supports bilingual language development by balancing English and Mandarin use.
The Secondary Well-being Center has been expanded and MTSS is implemented to support student well-being. The Wellbeing Department works with students, families, and teachers to nurture emotional resilience and positive relationships. Interventions are data-informed with progress tracking and needs assessments. MTSS is part of the secondary programme to provide targeted support for academic and social-emotional needs. Counseling and emotional wellness programs are available as part of the student support framework.

1. Registration. Selection is on a First-Come, First-Served basis and registration will be closed when full capacity has been reached. Candidates will be considered as accepted to the School when they have fulfilled all the academic and administrative requirements, and confirmation of payment has been received by the Admissions. The Registration Fee is Rp. 300.000 and is non-refundable under any circumstances. Online Admissions are available at binus.edu/admissions. 2. Admissions Requirements. Early Years & Primary: Indonesian students must provide a recent photo, birth certificate, family card signed by Dukcapil, and father's and mother's/guardian's ID card. Expatriate students must provide a recent photo, birth certificate, child's, father's and mother's/guardian's passports and KITAS. Additional documents include the candidate's progress report showing status “Progress” (minimum 3 years before – English/Indonesian version). Lower & Upper Secondary: Indonesian students must provide a recent photo (white background with well-groomed hair and ears clearly visible), birth certificate, family card signed by Dukcapil, and father's and mother's/guardian's ID card. Expatriate students must provide a recent photo (white background with well-groomed hair and ears clearly visible), birth certificate, child's, father's and mother's/guardian's passports and KITAS. Additional documents include the candidate's progress report (minimum 3 years before – English/Indonesian version). For enrolment in Grade 7, Grade 8, and Grade 10, there are grade-level prerequisites: Grade 7 requires a report card grade 4–6; Grade 8 requires a report card grade 7 (English/Indonesian version); Grade 10 requires a report card grade 7–9 (English/Indonesian version). 3. Enrollment & Re-registration. Re-registration documents include: if enrolling from a National School/SPK, a Transfer Letter from the local Dinas Pendidikan (for Grade 2–6 and 8) and Ijazah (for Grade 7, 8 and 10); if enrolling from an Overseas/International School, a Mutation Letter/Surat Penyaluran Siswa from Kemendikbudristek (for Grade 2–6 and 8) and a Letter of Equivalence from Kemendikbudristek (for Grade 7, 8 and 10). Additional documents for WNA include a Recommendation Letter for studying in Indonesia from Kemendikbudristek; if enrolling from Overseas/International School, a Letter of Equivalence from Kemendikbudristek (for Grade 7, 8 and 10). 4. Admissions Calendar. Intake Schedule for Academic Year 2026-2027: EY & Primary registration period 1 January – 28 February 2026; EY/Primary assessments (School Readiness Assessment and observations) and interviews scheduled per cohort; Admissions announcements within 5 working days after assessments; Re-registration and school fee payment within 3 days after results. Secondary registration period 1 January – 28 February 2026; 1st Stage Entrance Writing Test (Mathematics and English); 2nd Stage Interview; Admissions announcements within 5 working days after the interview; Re-registration and school fee payment within 3 days after results. BINUS SCHOOL Education Scholarships include: Non-Academic Scholarship (Grade 7 and 10; AY 2026-2027) with qualifications such as a minimum average score of 70 per semester (past 3 years), achievements in local and international competitions, and at least three top-category results; Application Deadline: Apr 30, 2026. Academic Scholarship (Grade 7 and 10; AY 2026-2027) with qualifications such as Top 10 students from reputable national/international schools, minimum average score of 80 per semester with no subject below 60, and achievements in academics; Application Deadline: Oct 31, 2025.
