Language subjects in the Diploma Programme include Studies in Language & Literature (English A, Indonesian A, and Korean A). Language Acquisition options are English B, Indonesian B, Mandarin B and French Ab Initio. The Diploma Programme also comprises other groups such as Individuals & Society, Experimental Sciences, Mathematics, and The Arts or Electives. The language offerings illustrate a multilingual program across the Diploma Programme, with English, Indonesian, Korean, Mandarin and French available at various levels.
The Immersion Program provides opportunities for students to visit leading schools and travel to different countries to experience new learning, including visits to the University of California, Los Angeles in the USA. It also encourages socialization with the wider world, develops cultural sensitivity, and inspires students to learn from schools and students abroad. Last year, students visited the United Kingdom and the United States for two weeks to gain life experience abroad. This year, students will visit the United States to complete their immersion program; during Exploration Week, activities such as IT immersion at BINUS SCHOOL Serpong provide a platform to align mind, body and heart through out-of-school projects.
BINUS School Simprug is an IB World School in South Jakarta that serves students from age 3 to 18 as a private day school. It offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme, with a Diploma core including the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity and Service. Established in 1998 and relocated to Simprug in 2003, the school is part of BINA NUSANTARA and has collaborated with Hwa Chong Institution since 2007 for staff development and curriculum enhancement. In 2014 it was designated a Cooperative Education Unit by the Indonesian Ministry of Education.
