LIFE School Jakarta becomes French School Jakarta (FSJ) in 2024. FSJ offers a bilingual French-English education from kindergarten to the baccalaureate in a warm, modern, and multicultural environment. The school is located in the Cipete district of South Jakarta. The curriculum is comprehensive and rigorous, based on the French national program, with a strong academic focus and teachers trained to support non-French-speaking pupils. FSJ is a member of the AEFE network and serves a community of 32 nationalities; most alumni continue their studies in France and around the world.
FSJ welcomes 32 nationalities, fostering a multicultural community. The school describes itself as a family with personalized support for each student. FSJ offers more than 35 extracurricular activities across sports, culture, and arts, with some activities available to parents. FSJ maintains an Events Calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year with events such as the start of the school year and scheduled breaks.
The governance includes a Board of Governors with parent-elected members. The Board is composed of a total of fourteen members with seven voting parent representatives and seven consultative voices. The Board manages the budget, ensures staff recruitment and safety, and oversees premises and equipment. The School Education Board (CE), chaired by the Principal, includes the senior management team, staff representatives, elected parent representatives, and student representatives, and handles curricular matters and school life. The CE approves strategic development, the school calendar, and the program of activities offered by clubs and school organizations. Parent participation is reflected in the Board and in the School Education Board, which advise on parent involvement in school life and related matters.

In Kindergarten, instruction is in French with bilingual English options; PS and MS balance activities in English, while GS prepares for the CP. The campus houses a Science Building, a Primary Library (BCD), a CDI, a canteen, a theatre, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a sports ground, plus health and Vie Scolaire facilities.
