1. Admission is open anytime on the Principal's recommendation and is dependent on seat availability. Parents may visit the School to meet with the Principal by calling 0361-239746/239747 for an appointment. Prospective students are invited to access Admission Forms. 2. Applicants sit for an Entrance Test and have an interview with the Principal; the test covers English and Mathematics and lasts about thirty minutes. The results help determine the appropriate level for the student, and teachers are informed of the results to plan any required support. 3. After admission is confirmed, applicants meet the Administrative Manager to discuss financial terms. This meeting covers fees, payment schedules and any applicable deposits. Documentation is reviewed to ensure all financial terms are understood. 4. Applicants submit the completed Admission Form to Reception along with all required documents, including comprehensive health screening and visa/ID checks, the Transfer/Clearance Certificate from the previous school, and the student's Report Cards for the past three years. Additional documents may be requested as needed. The Admissions Office will verify documents and confirm next steps. 5. Admission and Enrolment Fees and the Security Deposit may be paid prior to enrollment. Receipts are issued on payment and enrollment is finalized upon successful payment. Financial terms are discussed with the Administrative Manager. 6. Uniforms, textbooks and exercise books are available from the School Store. The Store operates during specified times and items are issued or purchased as directed. Parents should coordinate with the Store to ensure required items are obtained before the start of the term. 7. For mid-year admissions, start-month determines payment terms. August/September or February/March entries require full payment of school fees. October or April entries are billed monthly. November or May use a temporary fee arrangement. Recommended ages for class placement are: Nursery 3, Kindergarten 4, Prep 5; Middle School Grades 6–8; Primary Grades 1–5; Secondary School Grades 11–12. These age guidelines help determine appropriate progression through the programmes. Parents should use these guidelines when planning admissions. 10. Accessibility: the campus is mostly wheelchair accessible and the school does not accept students with severe physical or learning disabilities. 11. Special Programmes include an integrated English Immersion Programme designed to ease non-native English speakers into the mainstream curricula. 12. Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Bali (GMIS Bali) is an IB World School offering an international education for ages 3–18. The curriculum comprises IB PYP, MYP and DP, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and the CP. English is the medium of instruction from Nursery to Grade 12, with Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, French and Hindi offered as foreign languages. Indonesian national examinations are administered for Grades 6, 9 and 12. In the Diploma Programme, students complete six subject groups and core components Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service, with assessments in English, French or Spanish. Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9–10, with ICE possible through seven subjects. GMIS Bali has been part of the Gandhi Group since 2007 and is affiliated to the IBO, Cambridge Examinations Syndicate and the Board of Secondary Education Indonesian Schools.
