Uniform Requirement

All students wear the GMIS Bali uniform and it must be clean and presentable. Girls wear a red pinafore with cream blouse in Nursery–Preparatory and a white blouse with a bright blue skirt in Grades 1–12; Boys wear red shorts with a cream shirt in Nursery–Preparatory and grey shorts or grey trousers with a white shirt and a bright blue necktie in higher grades. PE kit is required for Games and a House T-shirt is worn for inter-house events; uniforms are sold at the School Store.

Food Options

Food Court serves Indonesian, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Continental cuisine.

House System

GMIS Bali uses a four-house system: Kartini (Yellow), Tolstoy (Red), Lincoln (Green), and Tagore (Blue). Each House has a Vision guiding activities, and students wear House T-shirts on sports and special activity days.

Governance and Ownership

GMIS Bali is the Bali branch of Gandhi Memorial International School, the only branch of GMIS Jakarta.

Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Bali (GMIS Bali) is an IB World School offering an international education for ages 3–18. The curriculum comprises IB PYP, MYP and DP, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and the CP. English is the medium of instruction from Nursery to Grade 12, with Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, French and Hindi offered as foreign languages. Indonesian national examinations are administered for Grades 6, 9 and 12. In the Diploma Programme, students complete six subject groups and core components Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service, with assessments in English, French or Spanish. Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9–10, with ICE possible through seven subjects. GMIS Bali has been part of the Gandhi Group since 2007 and is affiliated to the IBO, Cambridge Examinations Syndicate and the Board of Secondary Education Indonesian Schools. The campus includes classrooms, science labs, language lab, computer labs, library, music and arts spaces, and infirmary.
