GMIS Bali has been part of the Indonesian and international community since 2007. The school was formerly Gandhi Memorial International School. It is part of the Gandhi Group of Schools. GMIS Bali is an IB World School offering a secular education with an international curriculum. Affiliations include the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, and the Board of Secondary Education Indian Schools, Indonesia.
GMIS Bali has nearly 500 students from over 30 nationalities, forming a diverse and welcoming community. The school hosts annual theater performances, sports competitions, and music and dance showcases as part of its after-school programming. These activities contribute to a culture of collaboration and cultural exchange within GMIS Bali.
Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Bali (GMIS Bali) is an IB World School offering an international education for ages 3–18. The curriculum comprises IB PYP, MYP and DP, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and the CP. English is the medium of instruction from Nursery to Grade 12, with Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, French and Hindi offered as foreign languages. Indonesian national examinations are administered for Grades 6, 9 and 12. In the Diploma Programme, students complete six subject groups and core components Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service, with assessments in English, French or Spanish. Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9–10, with ICE possible through seven subjects. GMIS Bali has been part of the Gandhi Group since 2007 and is affiliated to the IBO, Cambridge Examinations Syndicate and the Board of Secondary Education Indonesian Schools. The campus includes classrooms, science labs, language lab, computer labs, library, music and arts spaces, and infirmary.
