Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

GMIS Bali provides a supportive and inclusive environment where differences are valued as strengths. A core team identifies each learner's strengths and offers support to help them grow, regardless of gender, caste, creed, colour or capability. Learning engagements and assessments are differentiated to bring out the best in body, mind and soul. High-tone discipline supports academic, moral and social development, with emphasis on creative thinking and independent work. Co-curricular activities and events such as theatre, sports and music contribute to social and emotional growth.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

GMIS Bali fosters inclusion and supports learners with diverse needs. A core team addresses individual needs and provides targeted support to each child, regardless of background or ability. Learning is differentiated to bring out the best in every learner.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The medium of instruction is English from Nursery to Grade 12. An integrated English Immersion Programme is designed to ease foreign language speakers into the mainstream curricula without undue pressure.

Mental Wellbeing

GMIS Bali fosters holistic development with a focus on moral and social growth. A dedicated team provides support to each student, addressing well-being in body, mind and soul.

Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Bali (GMIS Bali) is an IB World School offering an international education for ages 3–18. The curriculum comprises IB PYP, MYP and DP, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and the CP. English is the medium of instruction from Nursery to Grade 12, with Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, French and Hindi offered as foreign languages. Indonesian national examinations are administered for Grades 6, 9 and 12. In the Diploma Programme, students complete six subject groups and core components Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service, with assessments in English, French or Spanish. Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9–10, with ICE possible through seven subjects. GMIS Bali has been part of the Gandhi Group since 2007 and is affiliated to the IBO, Cambridge Examinations Syndicate and the Board of Secondary Education Indonesian Schools. The campus includes classrooms, science labs, language lab, computer labs, library, music and arts spaces, and infirmary.
