GMIS Jakarta is a private day international school in Indonesia for students aged 3 to 18. It offers IB programmes—Primary Years, Middle Years, Diploma—and is authorized to offer Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and A Level examinations, as well as examinations through the Indian Board of Schools in Indonesia. Instruction is in English, with Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Hindi, and French taught as essential second languages; students are encouraged to maintain their mother tongue. Established in 1950, GMIS is the oldest international school in the country and is registered with Indonesian Ministry of Education. The campus includes high-speed Internet, computer and science laboratories, language labs, a library, an auditorium, a gym, a playground, and a swimming pool.
