A day's schedule begins with uninterrupted classroom work in the morning, followed by activity sessions such as Physical Education, Dance, Music, Art, Bahasa Indonesia, Religious Studies, PSHE, cooking, or working with Computers; field trips and local community projects extend learning beyond the classroom.
Creativity is taught through Computers, Drama, Art, and Music. In Pre-school, children begin using computers; in Primary they learn word processing and Internet research to support projects. Drama helps students gain confidence and express themselves, while Art engages them with patterns, textures, lines, shapes, and space to produce images and artefacts. Music exposes students to a range of forms from classical to contemporary, and includes composing with Montessori Bells and Tone bars and singing in harmonies.
The main teaching medium is English, and Bahasa Indonesia is taught to all students. In Pre-school Bahasa Indonesia is informal; in Primary it follows the Indonesian national curriculum; Upper Primary adds Indonesian lessons in preparation for National exams (optional in the final year). Geography and other core subjects explore world cultures, including customs, housing, diet, government, the arts and history, with traditional songs, dances and folk crafts studied as part of the curriculum. English and Indonesian are used across learning to support bilingual instruction.
