The school operates as an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) international school. It is privately owned by Edriana Noerdin. In 2007, Jakarta International Montessori School was taken over by Edriana Noerdin, was renamed Jakarta International Multicultural School (JIMS), and JMS subsequently adopted Cambridge and International Baccalaureate curricula, with the Cambridge curriculum and IB Diploma Programme guiding its instruction.
Jakarta Multicultural School (JMS) is a private international school in South Jakarta offering Cambridge Primary through Cambridge A Levels alongside its own JMS Curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme.
