Academic and Intellectual

MIS follows the Cambridge International Curriculum to guide learning toward rigorous academic outcomes aligned with international standards. In Primary, English, Mathematics, Science and STEAM, Wellbeing/Health/Physical Education, Arts (Music, Dance and Visual Art), and Bahasa Indonesian are taught as part of the core program. The curriculum includes Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and Indonesian cultural experiences to foster well-rounded, globally minded learners. Graduates leave prepared to pursue further study in international programs or at home, equipped with critical-thinking and real-world skills.

Arts and Creative

MIS provides music and arts programs, including instruments, macrame, drawing and painting. Angklung and saxophone feature in classroom and after-school activities, reflecting both modern and traditional Indonesian sources. Visual arts are emphasized through drawing and painting and other craft activities. Arts education is integrated with the Cambridge curriculum to complement academic learning.

Cultural and Language

Bahasa Indonesian is taught as a second language at MIS. The curriculum includes Indonesian cultural experiences as part of learning, reinforcing intercultural understanding within the Cambridge framework. Social and Hobbies

MIS offers a broad range of after-school activities. The co-curricular program covers Music & Arts and Sports & Martial Arts with options like Basketball, Baseball, Skateboarding, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Yoga, Beach Sports and Surfing. Lifestyle and Wellbeing

MIS places wellbeing at the center of learning through Cambridge Wellbeing/Health/Physical Education within the Primary program. The campus provides outdoor spaces including a developed playground, gardens and even pets to support healthy play and exploration. The co-curricular program includes yoga, beach sports and surfing to promote fitness, resilience, and balance. Indoor spaces such as Manta Hall support fitness, mindfulness and collaborative activities.

Located in Kuta, Lombok, Mandalika Intercultural School offers international education for ages 2 to 18. The campus opened October 18, 2022, on a 10,000-square-meter site designed with EDGE environmental practices and Sasak architectural cues. The modern, pupil-centered campus features flexible classrooms, dedicated arts, computer and science laboratories, and the bamboo Manta Hall—an indoor sports and assembly space that embodies sustainable ethos. An on-site orchard and mini-farm connects science and sustainability with life. The Cambridge International Curriculum across primary, secondary and IGCSE/A Levels guides learning, with the Primary Programme delivering English, Mathematics, Science/STEAM, Wellbeing/Health/PE and Arts, and Bahasa Indonesian taught as a second language alongside Indonesian cultural activities.
