Facilities Overview

Opened on October 18, 2022, the Mandalika Intercultural School campus spans 10,000 square meters in central Kuta, Lombok. It is a purpose-built, sustainable campus designed with EDGE environmental building practices and Sasak architectural cues at the security gate. The campus houses modern classrooms, playing fields, Manta Hall—the bamboo assembly and indoor sports hall—and arts, computer, and science laboratories. There is an on-site orchard and mini-farm, with learning spaces that connect indoors to the surrounding natural environment. The design integrates indoor and outdoor learning spaces to support hands-on, experiential education.

Sports Facilities

Manta Hall is the indoor sports hall and gymnasium, built as bamboo architecture and serving as a community wellness space. Outdoor playing fields accommodate football and other team sports. Indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to support a range of physical activities throughout the year. Basketball, baseball, skateboarding, taekwondo, boxing, Muay Thai, yoga, beach sports, and surfing are offered through the co-curricular program. The facilities emphasize movement, collaboration, and lifelong fitness.

Academic Facilities

Modern classrooms form the core teaching spaces. Arts, computer, and science laboratories are on site to support practical, hands-on learning. The campus design includes spaces for collaboration and experimentation, both indoors and in outdoor settings. An orchard and mini-farm provide experiential learning opportunities in science and sustainability.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Music and Arts programs include music instruments, macrame, and drawing and painting. The co-curricular program also features a broad range of sports and martial arts, including basketball, baseball, skateboarding, taekwondo, boxing, Muay Thai, yoga, beach sports, and surfing. Indoor activities are offered with open-shelf materials for self-directed exploration, while the outdoor playground includes manipulatives, tricycles, pets, and gardens. These activities complement classroom learning and foster creativity, physical development, and social-emotional growth.
