Mentari Intercultural School Jakarta (MIS Jakarta) is an IB World School in Indonesia offering the International Baccalaureate programmes PYP, MYP and DP alongside the Indonesian National Curriculum. The Elementary programme combines IB PYP with national standards; Junior High blends IB MYP with the National Curriculum; Senior High delivers the IB Diploma Programme alongside the National Curriculum. MIS Jakarta places an emphasis on intercultural values and international mindedness, preparing students for higher education and life after school. The school traces its origins to Yayasan Perkembangan Anak Indonesia (YPAI), established in 1994 by mothers.
