Yayasan Perkembangan Anak Indonesia (YPAI) was established in 1994 by five mothers with a dream of providing a transformative education for a better future of our children. The owners were the first teachers, building MIS brick-by-brick from a small house to multiple branches, with thousands of students. It started in Mentari Preschool, which used to be known as Sunshine Preschool, with five students and five teachers. What we have today is the result of the ongoing support of parents and students who have helped MIS grow.
MIS Jakarta includes community-focused activities such as annual play productions, art exhibitions, project presentations and student assemblies. The 'Hearing from the community' section features a testimonial video where the community shares their experiences. Updates and glimpses of MISJ activities are shared via the school's social media, including YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
