1. Inquire or book a site visit. Prospective families can book a site visit at NJIS or submit an inquiry form; an admissions officer will reach out to discuss enrollment options. 2. Admissions team contact. After you submit the inquiry or complete a form, the Admission team will contact you for further arrangements. 3. Submit admission application forms and pay the application fee. Submit the admission application forms and pay the non‑refundable IDR 2,840,000 application fee; details about the application forms are provided by the admissions team. 4. Complete enrollment procedures. Enrollment involves signing an Enrollment Agreement and completing required documents including a Student Data Sheet, a Student Health Card, and a Media Release Form.
NJIS offers scholarships to recognize exceptional students who demonstrate a strong track record of academic achievement and a commitment to community service. Phase 1: Documentation — Complete the application form and prepare documents (Birth Certificate, Family Registry, Lower School & Middle School Graduate Certificates, past three years of report cards, all National Exam results, two recommendation letters, and a motivation essay). Phase 2: Entrance Test — An email will be sent to arrange eligibility to conduct the entrance test. Phase 3: Interview — Candidates who pass the first two phases will be invited to an interview with the Head of School. Phase 4: Results — Admission consultants will email the results indicating scholarship eligibility.
North Jakarta Intercultural School (NJIS) is an IB Continuum school for ages 2 to 18, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). It is WASC accredited and provides instruction in English and Indonesian. The Diploma Programme is a two-year, university-preparatory path with six subjects from Groups 1–6, plus a Core including the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity and Service, supported by university counselling from MYP3 through DP2. NJIS delivers the IB framework with an emphasis on intercultural awareness, inquiry and the Learner Profile. The campus covers 1.5 hectares in Kelapa Gading and includes a Performing Arts Center with an 8×10 metre LED screen, an Indoor Sports Gym, a 6-lane semi-Olympic pool, a Fitness Center, a library, Computer Lab, Science Labs, a STEM/Design Space, and Art Room and Music Practice Rooms. After-school activities include Model United Nations, Art, STEM and sports.
