Sampoerna Academy has campuses in Jakarta, BSD Tangerang, Sentul, Medan and Surabaya. The schools were initiated by the Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF), the social enterprise arm of the Sampoerna Group, dedicated to improving education in Indonesia and creating the leaders of tomorrow. Established in 2001, PSF has supported scholarships, student assistance for financially disadvantaged youth, and training for teachers and principals, as well as adopting state schools for quality improvement. PSF also established international standard boarding schools, developed a world-class university, and expanded to international day schools including Sampoerna Academy. Sampoerna Academy implements a holistic curriculum that aligns the national curriculum with international programs, including IEYC, Singapore Mathematics, Cambridge Assessment International Education, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, leading to the Indonesian High School Diploma, Cambridge A-Levels, or the IB Diploma.
Sentul School maintains an active events calendar that includes Family Sports Day, the National Assessment for Grade 11, and Indonesian Independence Day celebrations. Term starts are marked with Term 1 Begins, and Parents Orientation is held as part of the community calendar. The Sentul campus is located at Jl. MH. Thamrin, Cijayanti, Sentul Alaya, Sentul City, Bogor.
Located in Sentul as part of Sampoerna Academy, Sentul offers an international program that blends local requirements with qualifications. The school uses the IEYC for Playgroup and Kindergarten, while Cambridge Assessment International Education guides primary and secondary years, with Cambridge A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme available for Grade 12. Students sit IGCSE in Grade 10 and graduate with the Indonesian High School Diploma (Ijasah). English is the instructional language, with Indonesian and Chinese also valued. The curriculum weaves STEAM, project-based learning, and character development to prepare students for tertiary education in Indonesia and abroad. Facilities include technology-enabled classrooms, a spacious library, a science laboratory, dedicated arts and music studios, and comprehensive sports spaces, plus an ELC for early years. Extracurriculars span Artful Thinking, Sastra Science Club, the World Scholar's Cup, and performing arts such as The Voice, plus wellbeing and sport clubs for a holistic student experience daily.
