Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school places a strong emphasis on social and emotional development as part of the Cikal 5 Stars Competencies. Emotionally, morally and spiritually rich is one of the core competencies. The Five Cs framework (Compassionate Connection, Comprehensive Concept, Constructive Continuity, Challenging Choices, and Community Context) guides how learning is delivered to support social-emotional growth. Personal Social Education is included in integrated programs, reinforcing social and personal development across year groups. A Houses system supports collaborative learning and peer-to-peer connection, promoting friendship, responsibility, and community belonging. The school aims to develop self-regulated, emotionally aware learners.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The school provides Pendidikan Inklusi Cikal (Inclusion Program) to support children with special needs. Inclusion Program offers Academic PIC, Intervention and Development, PIC Functional (Inc. Vocational), Early Intervention, PIC Personal Development, and Therapy. Membership types at Inclusion include Full-Time and Part-Time to provide flexible support for students' learning needs. English as an Additional Language (EAL)

English is included as a subject in Year 9–10 within Sekolah Cikal's integrated programs. The Level/Program structure shows Language Studies and English appear in Year 9–10 as part of the integrated curriculum. The school offers international frameworks, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Mental Wellbeing
