Sekolah Cikal Surabaya is an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School. With 5 Stars Competencies as its aim, students develop a deep understanding of knowledge and practice it in daily life. Reception, Primary Years Program (Year 1–6), Middle School (Year 7–9), and High School (Year 10–12) prepare students to be more assertive and critical as they connect concepts to real-life situations and undertake projects that often involve community service. The PYP comprises Mathematics; English Acquisition and Literature; Indonesian Acquisition and Literature; Science; Social Studies; Religion Studies; PHE; Arts; Cikal Aksi-Aksi; PSE; and the PYP Exhibition.
Arts are included in the PYP, and Sekolah Cikal Surabaya provides dedicated spaces for arts learning. The school features a Visual Art Room, Traditional Music Room, Modern Music Room, and a Studio Design area to support creative work across disciplines. The facilities support cross-disciplinary creativity, integrating arts with core subjects.
English Acquisition and Literature and Indonesian Acquisition and Literature are part of the PYP, reflecting language and literature study in English and Indonesian. Sekolah Cikal Surabaya is an IB World School for ages 0 to 18, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle/High School programmes, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels within a bespoke curriculum.
