The school provides a KOS boarding house for students living in Surabaya. Parents are required to visit the KOS boarding house at least once per month. If a student is absent, school staff may visit the boarding house; leave and attendance are managed through a defined process including a permission-to-leave form and coordination with the nurse. The KOS owner/guardian contact details and emergency contacts are maintained to support boarding welfare.
Full School uniform is required. The dress code uses the school colours: dark blue, dark green, turquoise and white. Hair must be neat; colour and extreme styles are forbidden; makeup is discouraged; jewellery rules apply. Grades 7-8 wear a green-and-blue plaid skirt or trousers for girls and green shorts with a green shirt for boys; Grades 9-12 wear similar options with grade-specific variations; PE uniform is required for PE days; Batik on Fridays is optional.
The campus has a cashless canteen system. The cashless canteen was introduced to operate on student cards and became fully cashless from the 2019-2020 academic year.
There are four Houses: Beruang (red, harmony), Badak (blue, growth), Harimau (yellow, commitment), and Komodo (green, patience), each with its own mascot. Felix the Eagle is the overall school mascot. The House System fosters cross-grade interaction, leadership opportunities and inter-house competitions, with students encouraged to contribute to their House.
Sekolah Ciputra is governed by a Board of Directors; leadership includes an Executive Principal and a Coordinating Principal, with the Board overseeing the school's governance.
Sekolah Ciputra Surabaya is an IB World School delivering the full IB continuum—PYP, MYP and DP—alongside an Early Years Foundation Stage for Playgroup through Grade 12. English is the language of instruction, with Bahasa Indonesia central to the core curriculum and Mandarin offered as an additional language. The school follows the PYP for ages 3–12, MYP for Grades 7–10, and DP for Grades 11–12, with core DP components TOK, EE and CAS. Founded in 1996, Sekolah Ciputra is fully accredited by WASC and holds SPK status with an A rating, and it is a member of EARCOS. The campus is purpose-built with extensive facilities to support learning across the IB framework. Extracurricular activities run on multiple days in three trimesters, including arts, sports and service. Notable features include Grade 6 PYP Exhibition, Indonesian Ministry graduation certificate for PYP 6, service learning in MYP and a two-year DP with college counselling.
