1. Admissions inquiries and year level placement: Applicants and parents are invited to submit an Admissions Inquiry Form when contacting the school for the first time. The form gathers basic information to tailor subsequent information. Year level placements are Prep 4–5, Prep Senior 5–6, Year 1 6–7, Year 2 7–8, Year 3 8–9, Year 4 9–10, Year 5 10–11, and Year 6 11–12. Middle/High School placement is based on the previous year level. 2. Enrollment procedures – Step 1: Application: The application form is available for download on the forms page. 3. Step 2 – Supporting documents: For all applicants, provide copies of three years of academic records including the most recent period (documents in English or Bahasa Indonesia; translations to English if needed); a 3×4 photograph; a medical/vaccination record for Prep 1 to Year 1; copies of any health and/or psychological assessments (if required). Indonesian applicants provide a birth certificate and Kartu Keluarga; international applicants provide copies of the applicant's and parent's passports and KITAS. 4. Step 3 – Entrance Evaluation/Observation: After the application and documents are received, the office will contact applicants regarding Entrance Evaluation/Observation to be conducted at Sekolah Cita Buana, Jakarta. A non-refundable Enrollment Fee of Rp 500,000– Rp 750,000 is payable by cash or debit card. 5. Step 3b – Level-specific assessments/trials: Prep 1–Prep 3: half-day or full-day trial; Year 1–Year 6: English and Mathematics Entrance Evaluation Test (a full-day class trial may be required); Year 7–Year 12: interview and English and Mathematics Entrance Evaluation Test. Special Education: due to limited seats, applicants are placed on a waiting list (not first-come-first-served); selected applicants will be observed by the Head of Special Education and proceed to a full-day trial. 6. Step 4 – Acceptance: Applicants are informed by email whether admission is possible. The school reserves the right to final placement decisions. If offered, acceptance is confirmed by signing and returning the Acceptance Letter and paying the deposit before the deadline; deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. 7. Special Education: Due to limited seats, applicants are placed on the waiting list; the waiting list is not first-come-first-served. Selected applicants will be observed by the Head of Special Education and continue with a full-day trial.
Sekolah Cita Buana, established in 1995 in South Jakarta, was founded by parents and educators to offer an education option that blends the Indonesian national curriculum with international elements and bilingual instruction in Indonesian and English. The school serves 540 students and has produced graduates who pursue higher education locally and abroad. Since 2001, 150 graduates have progressed to higher education, with many studying in Australia, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. The campus comprises three buildings—Middle & High School, Early Years & Primary, and Special Education—and features fully equipped laboratories for science education, as well as an Early Years Playground. Located in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, near Clilandak Estate and Ragunan Zoo, the school offers two mini soccer fields, two basketball courts, and a semi-Olympic swimming pool to support PE and sport.
