The school is bilingual in Indonesian and English. Indonesian national curriculum is enriched with international curricula. In Primary, the National Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) is taught with the IPC, in Middle School the National Curriculum is taught with the IMYC, and in High School the ACT is taught alongside the National Curriculum.
Sekolah Cita Buana, established in 1995 in South Jakarta, was founded by parents and educators to offer an education option that blends the Indonesian national curriculum with international elements and bilingual instruction in Indonesian and English. The school serves 540 students and has produced graduates who pursue higher education locally and abroad. Since 2001, 150 graduates have progressed to higher education, with many studying in Australia, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. The campus comprises three buildings—Middle & High School, Early Years & Primary, and Special Education—and features fully equipped laboratories for science education, as well as an Early Years Playground. Located in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, near Clilandak Estate and Ragunan Zoo, the school offers two mini soccer fields, two basketball courts, and a semi-Olympic swimming pool to support PE and sport. It emphasizes community, learning, lifestyle, with clubs focusing on academics, service, and lifestyle.
