SPH Kemang Village follows Cambridge Curriculum up to Grade 10 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12, with a strong emphasis on social, emotional, and physical well‑being. The Cambridge framework aims to develop learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged, with social and cultural development addressed across stages. Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, and IGCSE programs provide guidelines for learning and include progression testing, supporting social and emotional needs. The IB DP focuses on students as a whole person, addressing social, emotional and physical well‑being and fostering values such as ethical judgment and teamwork. The CAS component of the IB DP encourages Creativity, Activity and Service, linking learning to real‑world experiences and personal growth. These approaches together support a holistic, values‑driven education that develops caring, capable collaborators.
The school has an Additional Learning Support program delivered by the Learning Support Team that works with teachers and parents to meet each student's learning needs. An early intervention framework enables new methods of learning to be introduced so students can cope in class. The Learning Support Team supports different needs and skill sets to learn effectively in class. English as an Additional Language (ESL) programs support students from Grades 1–6 through ESL and ESLI. ESL addresses language needs for students from diverse backgrounds, using an entrance test to assess language skills and support participation in daily classes. ESLI provides concentrated immersion for Grades 2–5 students with very limited English to accelerate language acquisition.
SPH provides English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Second Language Immersion (ESLI) programs for Grades 1–6. ESL addresses English language needs for students from different language backgrounds, with an entrance test to evaluate language skills and support participation in class. ESLI provides immersion for Grades 2–5 students with very limited English, designed to accelerate language acquisition; students must be able to read in their first language and have basic knowledge of the English alphabet. These programs are part of SPH's Learning Support.
IB emphasises the social, emotional and physical well‑being of students. The IB program places emphasis on developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people with adaptable skills to tackle global challenges, while addressing social, emotional and physical needs. CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) provides opportunities for students to engage in experiences beyond academics, contributing to personal growth and well‑being. SPH integrates faith‑based perspectives with education as part of its holistic approach, guiding students toward a purposeful life. Graduates pursue tertiary studies at universities worldwide.
SPH has a Child Safety Policy and is dedicated to caring for and protecting each student in attendance or who participates in SPH activities. As a Christian school, SPH acknowledges a spiritual responsibility and follows the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to protect students from violence, abuse, neglect, maltreatment, or exploitation. SPH participates in the Child Safety and Protection Network (CSPN) and has developed campus‑specific child protection policies. In 2025, all SPH campuses have been recognized by the Child Safeguarding Recognition Program. The Child Safety Coordinator at each campus can provide additional information.
