It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The school supports social-emotional development by fostering a positive working and learning attitude and encouraging willingness to learn and task responsibility. Students are encouraged to interact respectfully with adults and peers, cooperate with others, and follow instructions.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is provided when a child speaks a language other than English. EAL support is delivered through music and movement, storytelling and lessons, and the Total Physical Response method is used in daily activities to help students feel confident using English. The language policy respects and supports the use of mother tongue and Bahasa Indonesia as the host country language. Every student has two languages and can have a third if they wish.
Well-being is addressed through a framework that includes creating a safe environment and promoting connectedness. In the Primary School, the environment includes a Student Code of Conduct and supervision during break times. The approach also supports social engagement through a buddy system for new students, a Parent Support Group, a Line Communication system, and Student Council elections, with opportunities for clubs and sports.
Child protection is a core safeguarding measure, with a Child Protection Policy as part of the school's commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
