Sinarmas World Academy is a co-educational international school in Tangerang, Indonesia, offering a blend of Cambridge and International Baccalaureate programs. The Early Years program follows the Cambridge Stage 1 Primary Curriculum with core subjects and related areas such as English, Mathematics, Science, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, ICT, Arts, Physical Education, Music, and Religion. In Grades 6–8, Cambridge CAIE content is integrated within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, aligned with national requirements. The school prepares students for the IB MYP, IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), and provides language and culture programs, including Mandarin and related enrichment. There are exclusive partnerships for student exchanges with institutions such as Peking University Elementary School to broaden opportunities beyond the classroom.
Graduates progress to universities including University of New South Wales, Princeton University, University of Toronto, Yale University and University of Sydney, reflecting strong university placement support and a global mindset.

Step 1. Admission placement is based on the applicant's age level on or before September 30 of the respective school year. Age-to-grade mapping is: 1+ = Toddler; 2+ = Nursery; 3+ = Pre Kindergarten; 4+ = K1; 5+ = K2; 6+ = 1; 7+ = 2; 8+ = 3; 9+ = 4; 10+ = 5; 11+ = 6; 12+ = 7; 13+ = 8; 14+ = 9; 15+ = 10; 16+ = 11; 17+ = 12. The school does not cater to students with significant learning difficulties or special education needs. The school may deny acceptance without giving any reason related to admission or enrollment. The school may conduct a background check on the applicant without parental consent. Step 2. Applicants are required to take a written Entrance Test. Step 3. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an observation or interview with the Principal. Step 4. Upon acceptance, the Admissions Office will send a Letter of Offer within 5 working days if the school is in session or 10 working days if the school is not in session. Step 5. Parents are expected to confirm within the given timeline.
The SWA Scholarship Programme is designed for students in Grades 7–10 who demonstrate a proven track record of excellence in academics, sports, or the arts and who show strong character and leadership potential. Scholarship Scholars receive partial or full coverage of development and tuition fees and join a learning environment that emphasizes leadership development, enrichment programmes, and opportunities to pursue interests in science, mathematics, literature, music, the visual arts, or sports. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year are open; the deadline for materials is 29 September 2025, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, assessments, and portfolio reviews.
