Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social and Emotional Development is a Preschool learning area where students develop an awareness of personal identity and how to manage emotions and behaviors. They learn to show respect for diversity and to become independent and responsible lifelong learners. The Primary curriculum focuses on developing the whole child with an emphasis on social skills and meaningful learning linked to real-life experiences. Values Education is part of the Primary curriculum to support social and ethical understanding. The Secondary programme emphasizes social interaction and strong friendships, and includes a comprehensive Community Service Programme where students deliberate, plan, implement and reflect on their Community Service. The Junior College Diploma Programme addresses the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is offered in Lower Secondary, and XESOL (Extra English for Speakers of Other Languages) is available. English Language is a core subject across the curriculum.

Mental Wellbeing

The IB Diploma Programme addresses the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The Secondary programme also emphasizes social interactions and friendships, contributing to students' mental well-being.
