SIS Medan is part of the Singapore Intercultural School network in Medan, Indonesia. Founded in 2003, 1.2-hectare campus serves over 400 students from playgroup to senior level. The SIS Group, formerly Singapore International School, began in 1995 with its first building in North Jakarta and now operates seven campuses across Indonesia, including SIS Medan. The curriculum blends national and international standards: Preschool uses the Nurturing Early Learners Framework with Mandarin and Information Technology; Primary follows the Singaporean Curriculum with Life Skills, Knowledge Skills and Subject-Based Learning, including English, Mathematics and Science, plus Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia and ICT. Secondary combines Singaporean and Cambridge programmes, with Cambridge Check Point and IGCSE assessments. Junior College offers the IB Diploma Programme with Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity, Service.
