Admission Process: The SIS Semarang admissions process includes (1) an inquiry or school tour, (2) submission of a placement form and initial documents for processing (documents: a photocopy of the student's passport and two years of academic transcripts from their current school, if available), (3) payment of the registration fee, and (4) an interview with the Principal or Vice-Principal for all levels. If the student and parents are outside the country, the interview is conducted via Skype at Jakarta time; the school will notify the date and time. After admission, the steps are (1) confirmation of acceptance, (2) payment of school fees, and (3) purchase of the uniform.

SIS Semarang is an international campus welcoming families from 21 countries, with teachers from five nationalities. The school provides Preschool through Secondary education, guided by the Nurturing Early Learners Framework. In the early years, Information Technology and Mandarin are embedded in a curriculum focused on language and literacy, numeracy, world discovery, physical development, social-emotional growth, and creative expression. Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2 offer foundational learning, while the Singapore Curriculum guides the primary program and a blended approach for ages 13–16 that combines Singapore and Cambridge curricula, with Cambridge Checkpoints and Cambridge IGCSE available internationally. Cambridge A Levels and the IB Diploma are offered at higher levels. Facilities include the Center for Advanced Learning for secondary work and a Multi-Purpose Hall for indoor sport such as badminton. Co-curricular activities include Jumping Clay, Martial Arts, Kode Kiddo, and Badminton, and a spectrum of Active Learning, Coding, Robotics, and Virtual Reality experiences.
