SIS South Jakarta is a brand new international school that continues the SIS Group's long-standing presence in Indonesia. It is the result of the complete transformation of Singapore Intercultural School Bona Vista, which has a 20‑year record of high‑quality education backed by the SIS Group of Schools, which operates 11 schools in Asia. The SIS Group has more than 25 years of history and a track record of academic excellence and personalised learning. SIS South Jakarta opened with three programs: Robotics, ESOL, and Islamic Studies, and positions itself to provide pathways to international universities and scholarships while emphasising English, Indonesian, Math and Science alongside co-curricular and sports activities.

The campus offers a Preschool to Junior College pathway, with early years built on a Nurturing Early Learners Framework that includes Mandarin language learning and ESOL support. The Primary Curriculum follows the Singaporean framework, emphasising Life Skills, Knowledge Skills and Subject Based Learning, with core English, Mathematics, Science and Bahasa Indonesia taught in a student-centred way alongside ICT, Social Studies and Religion.
