Ambrit International School in Rome is an independent day IB World School serving students aged 3–14. The school teaches in English and Italian, with Italian as an additional language from Nursery through Grade Five and options in Spanish, French and Mandarin. Ambrit offers the full IB continuum: the Early Childhood and Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3–11 with a play-based, Reggio-inspired approach, and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–14. The Primary curriculum uses Units of Inquiry under six transdisciplinary themes, while the Middle School provides a rigorous MYP framework covering language, sciences, individuals and societies, design, mathematics, arts and PE. The 10-acre Portuense campus overlooking the Tiber River houses up to 420 students from 50 nationalities, with class sizes around 20 and specialist teachers for art, music, PE and library.
