The AOSR community includes more than 55 nationalities, with equal representation of American, international, and Italian families. Cultural traditions from near and far are shared, explored, and celebrated in classrooms and during events like the United Nations Concert, Mayfair, and International Language Day. The environment is warm and welcoming, with strong faculty commitment and a multicultural setting. The alumni network stays connected worldwide, reflecting the community's lasting impact.
The PTO is the heart of the AOSR community and the only active PTO among international schools in Rome. It brings people together through events such as Oktoberfest, the New Families BBQ, and Mayfair. Everyone is a member and there is no fee to join. The PTO plans and facilitates events, supports school-wide activities, funds projects through grants, and supports student group fundraising, including on-campus volunteering. Examples of activities include Popcorn Wednesday, Booster Bar, staff appreciation, seasonal celebrations, and Falcon Gear (spiritwear).
