Academic and Intellectual

ASM is an IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Junior and senior courses are taught at the IB Diploma level, with students able to earn the IB Diploma, IB Course Certificates, or the American High School Diploma. Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) is part of the IB program. The school provides schooling in English and operates a one-to-one laptop program from grades 6-12.

Arts and Creative

The arts program includes theatre and music with student productions such as All Shook Up, The Little Mermaid Jr., Clue, The Sound of Music, and Shrek. There is an active music program featuring ABRSM music exams, a string orchestra, and bands including rock and jazz. A yearbook and chess clubs are part of the arts and creative offerings.

Cultural and Language

ASM offers Italian B SL/HL/ab initio, French B SL/HL/ab initio, and Spanish B SL/HL/ab initio as part of IB language acquisition. Education is conducted in English. IB language and literature courses include English A1 Language and Literature HL/SL and Italian A1 Language and Literature HL/SL.

Social and Hobbies

Elementary and upper school students can choose from activities including chess, cooking, math club, tennis, fencing, gymnastics, and karate. Performing arts are active, with student productions and talent showcases providing opportunities for performance and collaboration. Clubs such as yearbook and chess are among the creative and social offerings.

Community and Service

Students are required to complete 50 hours of community service during their freshman and sophomore years. Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) is a structured program integral to ASM's IB curriculum. CAS integrates service with creative and physical activities to emphasize social responsibility.

Leadership and Professional

Model United Nations is a thriving student activity. National Honor Society (NHS) is active to develop leadership and service opportunities. University counselors provide guidance and support for college admissions and university planning.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

ASM offers major team sports, swimming, golf, and tennis. The European Sports Conference provides opportunities for varsity teams among European international schools. The Learning Forest supports outdoor learning and environmental education on campus.
