How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Becoming part of Andersen International School's community involves four steps. Book a Visit: Call the secretariat to schedule an appointment and a visit to the school. Documents Required: Parents are invited to send a copy of the child's most recent school report. This information helps determine the appropriate educational approach. Entrance Test: For students applying to primary school onward, there is an entrance test. The results are communicated to parents in the days that follow. Enrollment: To complete the enrollment process, sign the enrollment contract and pay the admission and enrollment fees. We strongly recommend enrolling your children at Andersen International School during the early years (nursery and kindergarten) to guarantee a place in subsequent classes. Come visit the largest international school in Milan. The only school that trains the leaders of the future.

Located in downtown Milan, Andersen International School is a private, independent international day school for students aged 1 to 17. The curriculum blends the British National Curriculum from Nursery through Year 9 with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Upper School. The Middle Years Programme is offered in years 4 and 5 as preparation for the Diploma Programme, while the Liceo is a Candidate School for the MYP as it pursues IB World School authorization. The campus spans 18,000 square metres and includes classrooms, artistic and scientific laboratories, a theatre and auditorium, gyms and sports spaces, a large garden and recreational areas. Primary and Middle Schools are Paritarie and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Public Education (MIM). The community welcomes students from over 40 nationalities, and all IB teachers participate in ongoing professional development. Founded in 2000 by Laura Donzelli, who remains CEO, the school brands itself as the biggest International School of Milan.
