English is the language of instruction for the British Curriculum; the Italian Curriculum is offered for primary education and is aligned with MIUR. Italian is taught as part of that programme, and Spanish is studied as a third language. In both Primary and Secondary, teachers collaborate across English and Italian to provide bilingual learning, and a dedicated language teacher supports students needing extra help in English or Italian.

Located in downtown Milan, Andersen International School is a private, independent international day school for students aged 1 to 17. The curriculum blends the British National Curriculum from Nursery through Year 9 with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Upper School. The Middle Years Programme is offered in years 4 and 5 as preparation for the Diploma Programme, while the Liceo is a Candidate School for the MYP as it pursues IB World School authorization.
