CCI provides co-educational boarding with separate boys' and girls' residences. Italian and Canadian residence dons supervise 24 hours a day, enforce residence rules, and support safety, study, and cleanliness. A minimum one-hour study hall runs on weekdays from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., with curfews: 8:00 p.m. if study is in residence; 9:05 p.m. if study is at the school; weekends have curfews of 11:00 p.m. for juniors and 11:30 p.m. for seniors. Residence meetings and student proctors help supervise and organize events.
Uniforms are required. All uniform orders are submitted through an online uniform shop. Girls wear 1 blazer, 2 dress shirts, 2 polo shirts, 1 Bermuda short, 1 dress pants, 1 kilt, 1 V-neck sweater, 1 parka, 1 athletic shirt, 1 athletic short and 1 tie (crest on blazer differs from the shown image). Meals are prepared daily by kitchen staff using locally sourced, organic, preservative-free produce from Lanciano and the surrounding region; Lanciano produce reaches the table in about 24 hours. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served during the week, with dinners at Allegria dining hall on most weeknights and meals in the Student Lounge on Fridays and Saturdays, where the student council designs an a la carte menu. Quartieri Dinners involve student houses planning themed menus; vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. Sunday lunch is brunch at 11:00 a.m. and international cuisines such as Thai, Japanese or Indian are not available in Lanciano; there are two local Chinese restaurants.

The school is located in Lanciano, Abruzzo, and operates under the supervision of the Ontario Ministry of Education. It has held Ontario credit-granting authority since its founding in 1995.
Canadian College Italy is a university-preparatory, co-educational boarding high school in Lanciano, Abruzzo. The school delivers an Ontario Ministry of Education–supervised high school curriculum taught in English, with Italian language taught by a native Italian teacher. It serves Grades 9–12 and offers enrollment for a single semester or up to four academic years. Eighty percent of teaching staff come from Ontario, and the teacher–student ratio is 1:12. Graduates earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and the program has Ontario credit-granting authority since 1995. The campus occupies a 14th‑century palazzo on Via Cavour, featuring a central atrium, an Art room, a science lab and a library/study area. Boarding life is organized in Cuore residence for girls, and Allegria and Palazzo de Giorgio for boys. The program supports university placements worldwide and provides access to outdoor activities, including hiking and winter skiing, plus a scuba certification program after a year of dives.
