Deledda International School

The school was created by the Genoa City Council in 1999 and acknowledged as an in-house institution by the Genoa Municipality in 2000. Since January 2011 it has been managed by Fondazione Urban Lab Genoa International School (FULGIS), which also manages Liceo Linguistico Grazia Deledda and Istituto Duchessa di Galliera.

Application / Entry fees

- Entry test (pre-registration) fee: EUR 50, payable by bank transfer at the time of pre-registration.

Tuition fees by school level (total annual amounts)

- Diploma Programme (DP1 / DP2) (per year): EUR 9,112. All amounts include the stamp duty fee (€2.00). Note: a fixed additional DP-class charge of EUR 500 was established in the Board resolution described on the tuition notice.

Payment schedule and instalments (how the annual fee is billed / paid)

- At enrolment: an initial payment of EUR 500 is required.
- Remaining balance: paid in four instalments with the following deadlines:
- 1st instalment: September 30 (due date published) ;
- 2nd instalment: January 15 (due date published) ;
- 3rd instalment: March 15 (due date published) ;
- 4th instalment: April 30 (due date published).
- Example instalment amounts (remaining balance divided equally into the four instalments after the EUR 500 initial payment):
- Primary School: annual fee EUR 7,355 → remaining balance EUR 6,855 → four instalments of EUR 1,713.75 each.
- MYP: annual fee EUR 8,612 → remaining balance EUR 8,112 → four instalments of EUR 2,028.00 each.
- DP1/DP2: annual fee EUR 9,112 → remaining balance EUR 8,612 → four instalments of EUR 2,153.00 each. (If the fixed DP charge is applied separately, that amount is handled according to the invoicing stated in the enrolment contract.)

Billing terms and concessions

- Families who enrolled in specified earlier years may be eligible for fee reductions determined via an ISEE assessment; families must provide the ISEE documentation according to the procedures shown in the school's enrollment contracts. A Foundation allocation for scholarships and ISEE-based support is in place for eligible MYP and DP students.

Boarding fees

- The school operates as a day school; no boarding fee schedule is published.

Other costs and routine additional charges

- Stamp duty: a small stamp duty (EUR 2.00) is included in the listed amounts.
- Entry-test pre-registration fee: EUR 50 (bank transfer).
- Textbooks, canteen/meals, extracurricular activities and similar routine school services are handled as separate items; charges for these are organized and invoiced according to the school's published materials and the enrolment contract or annual communications to families. (Specific per-item prices for books, meals, transport or uniform are not included in the headline tuition figures above and are invoiced separately where applicable.)

Refunds and cancellations

- Refunds, cancellations and any terms for retention of deposits are governed by the signed enrollment contract and the invoice/contract terms provided to families at enrollment. The enrollment contract specifies registration payment details and the contractual conditions that apply to payments.

- The entry-test fee is paid by bank transfer during pre-registration. Other tuition payments are invoiced according to the enrollment contract and the published payment schedule; payment details and accepted methods (bank transfer and the invoicing instructions) are provided in the contract and on the school's invoices.
