Approaches to Learning (ATL) defines the focused strategies and outlook that characterize an IB class. ATL develops Thinking Skills, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Self-Management Skills, Research Skills, Information Literacy and Media Literacy, while ATT focuses on teamwork and collaboration. The IB Continuum is followed from the Primary Years Programme through the MYP to the Diploma Programme, sustaining these skills across year groups. In MYP Year 5, students complete a Personal Project that consolidates their learning.
Arts is a defined subject group in the MYP, including Music (MYP 1-3) and Visual Arts. The MYP curriculum lists eight subject groups, with Arts included as a core area of study. The school hosts exhibitions showcasing student work, such as the Primary School Exhibition and the MYP Personal Project Exhibition.
Language provision includes Italian A and English A for language and literature, and Italian B, English B, Chinese B, Spanish B, French B and German B for language acquisition. The program supports intercultural understanding and global engagement within an IB framework.

The Annual Service Calendar lists major service projects, including Banca degli Occhi, with science and social initiatives integrated into learning. The Ocean Race project is another service-focused unit linked to studies and action. CAS and Service are integrated into the Diploma Programme and increasingly into the Primary years, with a Service Handbook documenting approaches and experiences.
Carriera Alias is a formal program offered by the school, with an official Regulation (Regolamento Carriera Alias) and an Activation Request as part of the program. The program includes a confidentiality agreement and related administrative processes.
The Canteen provides a balanced, nutritious menu for primary and middle school students, with an international menu offered monthly as part of a Language Acquisition project. A bus service is available upon request for elementary and middle school students.
Deledda International School in Genoa, Italy, offers the International Baccalaureate continuum alongside Cambridge Secondary. The Primary Years Programme is in candidate status, while the MYP and DP provide IB experience across eight subject groups, including Language and Literature with Italian A and English A, and Language Acquisition in Italian B, English B, and several other languages. Each subject group receives at least 50 hours of instruction annually, and MYP Year 5 culminates in a Personal Project. The campus in central Genoa features science laboratories, a modern library, two computer laboratories, and interactive classrooms, with MYP Junior Science Lab added in 2013.
