The school was established in 2016 with the acquisition of the International School of Olmi. The first classes of the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme were launched up to Year 3, and High School students settled near the future H-FARM Campus. In 2018 the network expanded with the English International School in Rosà and the Little English School of Vicenza, with Rosà offering the full IB Continuum and a new wing for Nursery. In 2020 the H-FARM Campus officially opened, hosting over 1,200 students from kindergarten to university. Today the campus hosts an international community of students of all ages, from kindergarten to college.
The Venice campus offers boarding, providing a home away from home. The flagship school is located within the H-FARM Campus - a 30-hectare park by the Venetian Lagoon, with facilities including sports venues, cafes, restaurants, accommodations, and a marina. The campus hosts over 300 events each year, serving as a dynamic hub for learning, collaboration, and community engagement. It serves an international student body from kindergarten to college, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
H-Farm International School Venice delivers the International Baccalaureate continuum for ages 3 to 18, with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) on site. All PYP lessons are taught in English, with Italian offered as a separate language and English language support for new learners. The Diploma Programme is a two-year course for students aged 16 to 19, including Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity and Service, plus six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics and the Arts. The DP emphasizes international-mindedness and a holistic view of learning. The Venice campus sits within the H-FARM network, established in 2016, and offers a boarding option described as a “home away from home” with a 360-degree journey. Features include the H-FARM Sports Academy, Beautiful Minds Scholarship for Girls, Technology Leaders of the Future, Euler's Program, bespoke tech learning modules.
