Well-being is a broad concept that covers physical, mental, and social health and includes happiness, fulfillment, and resilience. There are five dimensions of well-being: Physical Well-Being, Emotional Well-Being, Social Well-Being, Psychological Well-Being, and Financial and Occupational Well-Being. The platform provides insights, practical steps, and resources to support balance and well-being. Topics addressed include healthy relationships with food, talking about sexuality, screens and digital use, sleep, bilingualism, and movement.
The school provides an Inclusion Specialist to support learners with diverse needs. The Well-Being team includes a School Counsellor, Inclusion Specialist, Behavioral Coach, and Boarding Counselor and Psychologist.
Bilingualism is a gift; children can learn multiple languages from an early age. Keep the environment rich in both languages by reading books, having conversations, listening and singing together. Consistency helps, for example using one-parent-one-language or allocating times for each language. Support and encourage without pressuring perfection. Over time, the child will naturally learn when and how to use each language.
Mental wellbeing is addressed through Emotional Well-Being and Psychological Well-Being as parts of the well-being framework. The school supports students with a team including a School Counsellor, Inclusion Specialist, Behavioral Coach, and Boarding Counselor and Psychologist.
A Child Protection Policy exists to guide safeguarding within the school.
