ICS Milan serves a diverse community of students from a range of nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. English is the main language of learning, and the curriculum supports a range of student abilities. The school provides a supportive and internationally-minded community across three campuses, and works in partnership with families to nurture academic excellence, emotional wellbeing, and a strong sense of character. As part of Globeducate, ICS Milan shares a vision to prepare students to become global citizens who can shape the world.
ICS Friends has evolved from the founding PTA. As volunteers, both parents and teachers, our mission is to celebrate and foster our school community. Our Values are Inclusive, Caring, and Safe. In 2021 two ICS parents, Elke Palmaers and Federico Mastroleo, founded the first PTA at ICS Milan and were its first Chairs. ICS Friends is the natural evolution of the PTA and operates as a self-funded group that invests in school projects and donates to local organizations. Giving Projects have supported numerous organizations and totals donated over €24,500 in the past three years, while the Year Book and annual competitive activities have contributed €10,100 for school projects.
ICS Milan School is a Milan-based day school offering an IB World School program (MYP) and recognised as a paritaria school by the Italian Ministry of Education. The school serves ages 1–18 across three campuses: Symbiosis (ages 5–18 on a 10,000 m² site with about 6,000 m² outdoor space), Colletta (Nursery–Primary, 1,600 m², with a 15 × 6 m pool and two playgrounds) and Tenca (Nursery–Primary, 2,600 m² with dedicated spaces, Early Years playground, indoor gym and lunchroom). Curriculum begins with EYFS in Nursery, then the IB Primary Years Programme for Preschool–Year 6 with Italian language and culture integrated. Middle School offers the MYP; Years 10–11 use Cambridge IGCSE; Years 12–13 offer the IB Diploma Programme, with the DP Core including TOK, CAS and Extended Essay. Italian language aligns with national standards through Scuola Paritaria. Campuses feature Innovation Laboratories, gyms and swimming facilities, plus After School and Summer School programmes.
