The International School of Bergamo serves a diverse community of students from a range of nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. We offer a broad based education which uses English as the main language of learning and is an IB World School committed to the full implementation of the International Baccalaureate.
Admissions Procedure
1. If places are available, students who fulfill admissions criteria may be admitted at any time during the academic year at the discretion of the SMT.
2. Current ISB families are given priority in re-registering their children for the new school year.
3. Families of students seeking admission to ISB should contact the school to arrange an appointment with the Head of Admissions. The purpose of this meeting is for parents to become informed about the school (its core values and its educational programme).
4. In some cases, and necessarily for all students applying after Grade 7, the school may carry out a formal assessment of the student in order to determine grade placement or to decide on appropriate learning or behavioural support.
5. Once an offer of a place is made, it is confirmed at the moment the student's family signs the official registration form and the school accepts payment for the admission fee. At this moment parents should be particularly aware of the commitments they are making.
Nsouli Scholars Programme
Discover the Extraordinary Benefits of an Inspired Education
The Nsouli Scholars Programme is an exciting global initiative that promises to transform lives by enabling 50 extraordinary students at any one time to attend any of Inspired's prestigious schools on a full scholarship for the duration of their education. The ambition is that the scholarship will provide hundreds of children with an opportunity to receive a truly transformative education.
This generous endowment honours Nadim Nsouli, who founded Inspired in 2013 as a definitive statement of excellence in private international education. In recognition of Mr Nsouli's Lebanese heritage and Inspired's commitment to inclusivity, several scholarships will be awarded to individuals of Lebanese origin.

International School of Bergamo (IS Bergamo) offers the International Baccalaureate continuum: PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme, alongside Early Years Foundation Stage. The school serves ages 2 to 18 with instruction in English and EAL support, and Italian language study integrated for all students. From Grade 1, a 1:1 iPad programme supports digital learning, and the MYP uses eight subject groups with progression toward the DP. IS Bergamo combines an English-speaking environment with mother-tongue Italian for Italian students, and follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach in the Early Years within the IB framework. The campus is new, with outdoor facilities, a performing arts studio, an indoor gym, an innovation hub and an equipped science laboratory; an on-site canteen serves meals. Bruno Munari art laboratories and Orff Schulwerk music are a permanent feature of the arts programme. The school is part of Inspired Education Group, linking it to a network of schools. After-school activities include TED-Ed Club, Model United Nations, FIRST LEGO League robotics, Judo and Arts & Crafts.
