Facilities Overview

Paritaria school accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM), formerly MIUR. The school serves four sections: Early Years (3–5), Junior (1st–5th), Middle School (6th–8th), and High School (9th–13th). Courses are taught in English while Italian studies are taught in Italian, and the curriculum combines Italian standards with an international program. The campus features a music-focused program (SIIMUS) for Pre-School through Junior Grade 3 and Cambridge Language Preparation (Starters–CAE). The school promotes environmental responsibility with a Go Green initiative and employs Project Based Learning. Many students come from international backgrounds, including families connected to U.S. military/NATO facilities nearby.

Academic Facilities

ISLP is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIM) and follows the Italian national curriculum augmented with an international program. Bilingual Education begins in the Early Years, using CLIL to teach non-language subjects in a second language and to develop language competence and intercultural understanding. The Italian Programme provides Italian language instruction for all students, with tracks for Italian Mother Tongue and Italian as a Foreign Language across Primary, Middle, and High School. The curriculum emphasizes autonomous learning, intercultural understanding, and alignment with the official Italian curriculum while developing international thinking and personal values. The staff maintains classrooms, the library, buildings, and grounds to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The Educational Trips page shows ISLP offers local and international excursions, with visits to museums and archaeological sites and trips to France, Spain, England, and New York. Trips are organized by the school, chaperoned by staff, and require parental permission; costs are borne by parents. The school runs theatre-related activities and performances, such as Mamma Mia – Theater Lab Show. Go Green outdoor education and other Project Based Learning activities provide experiential learning outside the classroom. The Language Centre supports Cambridge English exams (Starters–CAE) and Italian CELI certificates (University of Perugia), and offers DELE Spanish certificates for students choosing Spanish.
