Uniforms are required; learners must wear at least one ISR uniform item with the ISR logo every day; school colours are white and navy blue; closed-toe shoes only; two complete changes of clothing should be provided for Early Years; uniforms are available to purchase from Tempo Imperfetto via the school code, with delivery to home or school.
The Lunch Fee includes daily snacks (yogurt and fruit) and lunches. The school follows a school food menu standard and complies with food safety guidelines approved by local health authorities (AUSL Romagna); the menu is designed to meet nutritional standards. Diapason is the external food supplier providing organic ingredients and seasonal respect. Special diet requests can be made. For celebrations, outside food is allowed only bakery, supermarket, or pastry shop items, properly labelled with ingredients.
ISR is part of BDC Group, a network of schools; the entity is International School Rimini S.r.l.
International School Rimini (ISR), founded in 2018 and part of the BDC Group, is the only IB World School in Romagna. Located in the center of Rimini, ISR is authorized for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The school currently educates students from Early Years (age 3) through Grade 10, with High School classes opening in September 2026 to continue the MYP curriculum. Instruction is entirely in English, with specific exceptions for Italian and Spanish language classes, all taught by international teachers. A distinctive feature of ISR is its specific educational method focused on "Mediterraneity, Internationality, and Entrepreneurship." This approach actively integrates local Italian heritage with global perspectives. Operating Monday to Friday from 7:45 to 15:30, ISR prepares students to thrive globally through partnerships with other international schools, ensuring a cohesive and continuous educational journey.
