Dress code is modest and appropriate; hats and any head coverings are not allowed inside buildings. Clothing or adornments with spikes that could cause injury are prohibited in the school and during school activities. The cotton lab coat is mandatory for chemistry practicals starting in Seconde.
Meals are prepared fresh each day and kept hot until lunch, with meal selection available via the Appetie app for the day or week. Younger students use ceramic dishes with lids to keep meals warm. The cantine operates at Patrizi/Malpighi and Strohl-Fern sites and provides a monthly menu.

Lycée Français Chateaubriand de Rome is a French international school located in Rome and a member of the AEFE network. It serves students from ages 3 to 18, from kindergarten through terminale, across campuses: Strohl-Fern for younger levels, and Patrizi and Malpighi for the lycée. The school is homologated by the French Ministry of National Education, confirming that its programs and organization follow French requirements while offering Italian language instruction.
