Location

Three campuses serve different levels in central Rome. Strohl-Fern is at Via di Villa Ruffo, 31, 00196 Rome, lying at the bottom of the Villa Borghese park, and hosts nursery through 4th grade. Malpighi is at Via Malpighi, 11, 00161 Rome, hosting 9th and 10th grades. Patrizi is at Via di Villa Patrizi, 9, 00161 Rome, hosting 11th and 12th grades.

Maternelle, Elementary, Collège and Lycée; three sites: Strohl-Fern (nursery through 4th), Malpighi (3e and Seconde), Patrizi (1ère and Terminale).

Day Structure

Bus Service

A paid school transport service is offered for the Strohl-Fern site, organized by the APE in partnership with Societa Cooperativa Chateau. Minibuses pick up from home or a meeting point and drop off at Strohl-Fern at 8:20 a.m.; an attendant accompanies each bus; return trips are at 15:30 daily, with two departures on Wednesdays at 12:30 and 15:30.

Fees

Application fee (Droits de Première Inscription — DPI)

- DPI (one‑time, payable after confirmation of inscription): EUR 1,500. These fees are non‑refundable and remain valid for five school years if the child did not begin attendance. Sibling discounts on DPI apply (30% for the 3rd child, 40% for the 4th, 50% for the 5th and following).

Tuition fees (Droits Annuels de Scolarité — DAS) — academic year split and amounts

- Maternelle / Élémentaire: Annual total EUR 6,576, invoiced by trimester as follows — 1st trimester EUR 1,973; 2nd trimester EUR 2,630; 3rd trimester EUR 1,973.

- Collège: Annual total EUR 7,265, invoiced by trimester as follows — 1st trimester EUR 2,179; 2nd trimester EUR 2,907; 3rd trimester EUR 2,179.

- Lycée: Annual total EUR 7,598, invoiced by trimester as follows — 1st trimester EUR 2,279; 2nd trimester EUR 3,040; 3rd trimester EUR 2,279.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Invoicing (avis à payer) is issued each trimester. For the 2025–2026 year the school issues the three trimester notices on or about: 2 October 2025 (1st), 2 February 2026 (2nd) and 2 April 2026 (3rd). Each avis à payer must be settled within the payment deadline stated on the notice (payment term: maximum 15 days from issuance). "Tout mois commencé est dû intégralement."

- In case of non‑payment the school follows a defined recovery sequence (reminders, formal notice, and then legal action). Bank charges for payment processing are borne by the payer.

Boarding / Pension

- There is no annual boarding (pension) fee applicable for the Lycée Chateaubriand de Rome (pension listed as “Sans objet”). No school boarding charges are applied.

Demi‑pension (school meals) — fees and split by trimester

- Demi‑pension is compulsory from maternelle through 3ème. Annual and trimester amounts (options):
- 5 meals/week: Annual EUR 1,473 — 1st trimester EUR 589; 2nd EUR 442; 3rd EUR 442.
- 4 meals/week: Annual EUR 1,178 — 1st trimester EUR 353; 2nd EUR 472; 3rd EUR 353.
- External / supervised (externe / surveillé): Annual EUR 268 — 1st trimester EUR 80; 2nd EUR 108; 3rd EUR 80.

- Changes of meal plan within a trimester are not permitted. Partial rebates for demi‑pension may be considered only for absences exceeding 15 consecutive days in a single trimester and properly justified. "Tout mois commencé est dû intégralement."

Examination fees

- Brevet (3ème): EUR 50 (charged on the 2nd trimester invoice).
- Épreuves anticipées (1ère): EUR 110 (charged on the 2nd trimester invoice).
- Baccalauréat (Terminale): EUR 260 (charged on the 2nd trimester invoice).

Other costs and periodic charges

- Schoolbooks and school supplies: lists of required manuals and supplies are published for each year; the purchase cost of books and supplies is borne by families.

- Transport (paid): A paid school transport service is available for the Strohl‑Fern site; service is organised by parent association (APE) in partnership with a transport cooperative. Transport charges are separate from school tuition and billed by the transport provider / association.

- Activities and clubs: Some extracurricular / peri‑school activities carry their own charges. Example: Association Sportive (AS) cotisation is EUR 40 per year. The CLAPE (centre de loisirs / périscolaire) and certain music or club activities may have additional membership or participation fees set by the organising association.

- Project, excursions and trip fees: Charges for projects, pedagogical trips and special activities are set at establishment level and invoiced separately when applicable.

Refunds and exceptional remissions

- DPI are not refundable. If the pupil did not start at the school the DPI remain valid for five school years following payment.

- Tuition remissions may be granted only in exceptional situations (serious accident, serious illness of the child, or other major family events that compromise ongoing schooling) and are examined on the basis of submitted documentation. Partial rebates for demi‑pension are possible under the specific absence conditions described above.

Sibling discounts and special staff provisions

- Family discounts on annual tuition apply: 10% per child for 3 children (simultaneous registrations), 20% per child for 4 children, 30% per child for 5 children, 40% per child for 6+ children (different rules apply for sequential vs. simultaneous registrations). Local staff employed under local contract may receive exemptions (examples: up to 80% exemption on DPI or on DAS in specified conditions).

Fee payment options and banking details

- Payments must be made on receipt of the trimestrial invoice. Accepted method: bank transfer to the school's indicated account (IBAN: FR76 1007 1449 0000 0010 2038 209 — BIC/SWIFT: TRPUFRP1); bank charges are at the family's expense. Invoices are accessible via a secure accounting link transmitted to the payer; other payment methods may be authorised by the establishment where indicated on the invoice. The school may allocate incoming payments to the oldest outstanding debts irrespective of payer indications.
