The Lycée Français Chateaubriand de Rome operates on multiple campuses in Rome: Patrizi and Malpighi for the lycée, and Strohl-Fern for other levels. The Malpighi site houses a cafeteria service for on-site meals with a broad range of hot and cold options. A paid school transport service serves students attending the Strohl-Fern site, organized by the APE in partnership with Societa Cooperativa Chateau, with daily returns and mid‑week departures. Sessions take place each Wednesday from 14:30 to 16:30, with occasional lunchtime tournaments open to students in 6e, 5e and 4e. The annual participation fee is 40 euros.
From 3e to terminale, the lycée operates on the Malpighi and Patrizi sites. A Bibliothèque centre documentaire (library) is available for student research and study, serving as the school's Centre de Documentation et d'Informations (CDI). The Lycée Chateaubriand offers a broad range of extracurricular activities in partnership with teachers, parent associations and other entities. AS (Association Sportive) provides supervised sports on Wednesdays from 14:30 to 16:30, including football, badminton, gymnastics, volleyball, table tennis, and tennis; there are occasional tournaments during lunch breaks for 6e, 5e and 4e. ChateauMusique, created in 2016, offers classical and modern music sections with dedicated instructors. The Théâtre Atelier runs since 2013, with language‑integrated theatre projects open to 3e, 2nde and 1ère. CLAPE (Centre de Loisirs, Activités périscolaires, Étude) manages after‑school activities, holiday programs, supervised study and kindergarten daycare through the APE. The Aumônerie Catholique Saint Louis des Français provides weekly activities for CE2 to 5e, monthly meetings outside the school, and sacraments preparation.
Lycée Français Chateaubriand de Rome is a French international school located in Rome and a member of the AEFE network.
