In 1953 the school moved to Villa Lauchli; Butler Hall was completed three years later. A residence building opened in 1962 and Gailhac Hall followed in 1968. Marymount introduced the International Baccalaureate program in 1985, and became fully co-educational in 1991; the boarding program was discontinued in 1995. The campus expanded in 2001 and again in 2006, and Marymount today is part of the Global Network of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) Schools.
